Since I was very young I understood that Sundays are those days that we Venezuelans usually take to enjoy a nice time with our families and forget about any stress product of our hard work week. In addition, Sundays are essential to get out of our comfort zone and take advantage of this day of rest to participate in various family activities ranging from the preparation of the delicious sancocho or Sunday soup, board games like dominoes, cards, or outings to any place where nature offers us its bounties, mountains, beaches or rivers. Sundays are those days that we wish we had at least 48 hours, and not because we are lazy, but to spend more time with our family and enjoy the company of our loved ones.

On this Sunday, the last Sunday of the month of January, my family, my sister, my brother-in-law and I had the joy of enjoying nature in a country outing where we visited the river for the first time with our son Santiago in order to take advantage of the benefits of the freshness of its waters. We were very excited because our son would swim in the river for the first time and the experience was unforgettable, when we arrived to our destination after a 10 minutes trip, we arrived to a nearby spa and immediately the fun did not wait, the waters of the river caused great amazement in my little son and my husband was ready to bathe with our little one.

While my husband bathed with our little one, and I enjoyed the gestures of excitement of my son when he splashed in the water, I stopped to observe everything that was around me, mainly many families and groups of friends enjoying a Sunday day where nature makes its relaxing effect and the pure aroma of the air fills the lungs with peace and makes you breathe tranquility and serenity. Many young people, children and adults bathing in the river, all as one big family wrapped by mother nature, vegetation and trees make the river a cozy place and I see the faces of happiness to spend a different day with family.

One of the particular things about visiting beaches, rivers or natural spaces, is that usually you will always find people close to you who for a reason similar to yours, decided to recreate Sunday with their families and get out of the home routine. On this occasion, in our family visit to the river I met a great friend from college, a super nice and attentive girl with whom I have shared good times and we had long time without seeing each other, so while I was on the river bank and watched my family bathing, my friend and I allowed ourselves to chat for a while about our lives and share our experiences as mothers and also with women, we laughed and our occurrences and remembered old times lived.

This day of river, nature, family and friends, was an extraordinary day, and the truth is that we all needed this time to space ourselves and get away from the routine, I would have liked to dive into the water with my family, but for physical reasons due to my obvious nature I could not enter the water with my family. However, we all enjoyed together and both my son Santiago and my husband had a hard time getting out of the water to go home. On this day, we also tasted a delicious torrejas made by the generous hands of the brave women who promote their sweets and foods in the river, this being the tribute they offer to their homes.

The best thing in life is to be able to enjoy any natural space with your family, soak in the scenery, let your senses enjoy your stay, thank God for allowing us to be alive, for having a family and friends to share this experience with. After all, Sundays are also an excellent time to reflect, to pray, to love and to have fun in the company of our loved ones.

Bienvenidos a mi Blog

Un día domingo para disfrutar de la natureleza con mi familia y divertirnos.

Desde muy pequeña comprendí que los días domingo son esos días que por lo general nosotros los venezolanos tomamos para disfrutar de un rato agradable con nuestras familias y olvidarnos de cualquier estrés producto de nuestras ardua semana de trabajo. Además, los días domingo son indispensable para salir de nuestra zona de confort y aprovechar de este día de descanso para participar en diversas actividades familiares que van desde la preparación del delicioso sancocho o sopa dominguera, los juegos de mesa como dominó, barajas, o las salidas a cualquier espacio donde la naturaleza nos brinda sus bondades, montañas, playas o ríos. Los domingos, son esos días que desearíamos que tuvieran al menos 48 horas, y no por ser perezos, sino por pasar más tiempo con nuestra familia y disfrutar de la compañía de nuestros seres amados.

En este día domingo, el último domingo del mes de enero, mi familia, mi hermana, mi cuñado y yo tuvimos la dicha de poder disfrutar de la naturaleza en una salida campestre donde visitamos por primera vez el río al lado de nuestro hijo Santiago para así poder aprovechar las bondades de la frescura de sus aguas. Estábamos bastante emocionados porque nuestros hijo por primera se bañaria en el río y la experiencia fue inolvidable, al llegar a nuestro destino luego de una salida de unos 10 minutos, llegamos a un balneario cercano e inmediatamente la diversión no se hacía esperar, las aguas del río causaron gran asombro en mi pequeño hijo y mi esposo se dispuso a bañarse con nuestro pequeño.

Mientras mi esposo se bañaba con nuestro pequeño, y yo disfrutaba de los gestos de emoción de mi hijo cuando salpicada el agua, me detuve a observar todo lo que se encontraba a mi alrededor, principalmente muchas familias y grupos de amigos disfrutando de un día domingo donde la naturaleza hace su efecto relajante y el aroma puro del aire llena los pulmones de paz y te hace respirar tranquilidad y serenidad. Muchos jóvenes, niños y adultos bañándose en el río, todos como una gran familia arropados por la madre naturaleza, la vegetación y los árboles hacen del río un lugar acogedor y veo los rostros de la felicidad de pasar un día diferente en familia.

Una de las cosas particulares de visitar playas, ríos o espacios naturales, es que por lo general siempre te encontrarás con personas cercanas a tu entorno quienes por una razón similar a la tuya, decidieron recrearse el día domingo con sus familias y salir de la rutina hogareña. En este ocasión, en nuestras visita familiar al río me encontré con una gran amiga de la universidad, una chica super amable y atenta con quien he compartido buenos momentos y teníamos mucho tiempo sin vernos, así que mientras estaba en la orilla del río y observaba a mis familiares bañarse, mi amiga y yo nos permitimos charlar un rato sobre nuestras vidas y compartir nuestras vivencias como madres y también con mujer, nos reímos ee nuestras ocurrencias y recordamos viejos momentos vividos.

Este día de río, de naturaleza, de familia y de amigos, fue un día extraordinario, y la verdad es que todos necesitabamos de este tiempo para espacirnos y ajernos de la rutina, me hubiera gustado zambullirme en el agua con mi familia, pero por razones físicas producto a mi naturaleza obvia no pude ingresar con mi familia al agua. Sin embargo, disfrutamos todos en compañía y tanto a mi hijo Santiago como a mi esposo, les costó salir del agua para partir a casa. En este día, también probamos una deliciosas torrejas hechas por las manos generosas de las valientes mujeres que promocionan sus dulces y comidas en el río, siendo este el tributo que ofrecen a sus hogares.

Lo mejor de la vida, es poder disfrutar de cualquier espacio natural al lado de tu familia, empaparte del paisaje, que tus sentidos disfruten de la estadía, agradecer a Dios por permitirnos estar vivos, por tener una familia y por amigos con quienes compartir esta experiencia. Después de todo, los días domingos también son un excelente para reflexionar, rezar, amar y para divertirnos en compañía de nuestros seres amados.
