OF MAGICAL ORBS AND BEAUTIFUL SMILES

His eyes were like magical orbs that bewitched her soul
And she could not help but get lost in them
His smile melted her like hot knife does butter
Breaking down her walls and leaving her defenceless
He was an invader
And it did not take long for him to conquer her heart

Waking up in love was beautiful
The world itself seemed to change
And with him her frowns had gone faraway
All the time she spent with him was happy beyond measure
But everything has an end, and so did her time with him

Desolation set upon her as she cried out pools and rivers
She was made of glass, fragile and beautiful
And he had broken her into a million pieces
Over time she found the strength to pick herself up
Re-energize, re-vitalise and re-organise her life
But she was no longer the same
Many shields she built to guard herself
From magical orbs and beautiful smiles
Of any and every invader
