And thus came light, blinding:
The loss of sense maddening
The twilight was of greed
So the dawn became deafening...
And thus came dark, calming:
The view of moon, beaming
The height of passion
The dusk seemed healing...
And thus came prayers, wishing:
So that passion stays
For light to illuminate
So that dark mollifies...
