Stubborn fantasy
original poetry11/4/17
Anchor of strange blisters through the earth,
Granite honeycomb of the resonating firmament.
.
I am rescinded,
Retracted through the twitching of deities,
Pulled by my slinking spine up through the sky,
Through the sky into the beyond where nothing lies.
.
I am restitute,
Ornaments reranged by the whimsy of fashion;
My skeletal wires restrung through new arches,
Set coarsely into the arms of the forest to bide.
The lecture poured forth with uncanny ease &
Tireless vigor, astounding the domes of clay.
.
The mandrakes, with chia hair,
With clothes of moss &
Lichen shoes.
.
Playthings
For whom?
Scenes of revolving met'llurgical play,
Baths of magma and pearl that implode,
Birds of aetherous loam.
.
Building with dewdrops & starlight & fire
Transmuting the dross & the muck & the mire
That raised resolution from all-colored clay,
That cast incarnation with sorcerous spray.
