In the immensity of the Sea
I feel your scent,
I look for your gaze
And I see that sparkle in your eyes,
Your hugs so warm,
And that lost peace comes back to me.
Suddenly a cold breeze covets my bones,
Your face fades,
I seek you desperate among the shadows,
My hands try to reach you without success,
It's too late!
Sadly I realize
That only my reflection has accompanied me,
It's just me again, lost, afraid,
Such an uncertain solitude in that vast sea.
You never were,
It was just a passing illusion,
A cruel invention of my imagination,
For the ashes of your body lie in this very sea.
I come to mourn your absence,
To see you for a brief moment
Although it is the product of my invention
Well, it's the only way to find you again.
Here in this sea that goes beyond my dreams.
