THE SONNET IRE

When you are adrift;
mien is lapsed.
Candor is parried,
Veneration is strayed,
The future remained sterile.
Demureness is never exerted .
Things that can never be recouped;
All are dissipated.
Just for a second of ostentation.
Everything I spent my whole life on;
All are dissipated.
Ire! ire!
I wish I had another day:
I will adopt you as my own.
Summary
This poem centres on one common shortcomings of virtually everybody and the harm it has cause to those who failed to control it. This nemesis is known as Anger. The poetic persona lamented on how anger has made him to lose what he has worked for in his lifetime and hoped he is given a second chance which is not possible. I urge everyone reading this work now to please control their temperament irrespective of the circumstance because it is not everything we lose that we can get back.
