My FATHER'S LAND

This poem is solely about me. I have faced series of challenges since my dad passed on. All the assets he had left for his boys(children) where ceased from us by those he called his brothers..... I Ran to the courts but all in were bribed. The authorities never gave a solution. In a lonely 🌍 world, there was I helpless and neglected.

I came into this world lonely
I traverse the shores lonely
My moments became leaned
My reflections darkened
The society forced me into squalid life
The society a veneer nature showed me
This heightened my spirit
And so I walked the street like a colossus
Until my waterloo I met
I appeared before the village court
Like the Jerusalem lamb
Everyone except I a Lilliputian
Their tongue waxed in judgement against me
I fluster at every defense
My father's piece of land taken away
At the court no one spoke for me.
