Old clothes.
Yesterday I tried them on My old clothes
It's been awhile now.
I sucked in air through them- nostalgic.
I remember them, they used to fit.
I wouldn't discard them
They contained my old days
And I treasure events,
Especially the now vintage ones.
As I scampered through the bag of bygones I recognized my once favorite ones
I sniffed at them
I only wanted to see and sniff
To draw the cologne of what I used to be sniffed again. And yet again.
Later I was before the mirror that reflects tomorrow
And what did I see?
A reflection of that which I have long forgotten
taking form again
Any cloth you haven't worn for more than 3 months is not yours anymore...give it out.
