Lleva por nombre cuarentona y es que la floración es larga, mientras se va marchitando una flor van brotando otras hasta que la planta se seca.
Lo bueno de ellas es que se esparcen las semillas por todos lados y en la entrada del invierno vuelven a crecer rápidamente, es un bonito ciclo.

Poseen muchos pétalos y algunas personas las confunden con otras variedades de plantas, solo que estas las recomiendo por su larga floración.
