He is a merganser....
The common merganser eats fish and nests in holes in trees.....
the merganser was first described by the Swedish naturalist Carl Linnaeus in 1758.....
in the tenth edition of his Systema Naturae
This one is a female......
the male does not have the beautiful hair :-)
