#703 - At Marikina shoe museum.
Greetings this Tuesday morning to you all dearest Hiveans. I am currently on shift since six this morning and it will be my lone work day for this week as I have a leave on the remaining days. It was planned and didn't have to do with going out of town but just to stay home and do some other stuff. Yesterday I was a bit late waking up at five but still managed to cook for my son. I also went to a pet store just a couple of street to once again buy a kilo of dog food for my old friend. I am mixing a combination of the dog food and our viands so he won't get bored with the same food he eats twice daily. We also give him meryendas same as our snacks if there's any. He likes papayas a lot though and even bitter gourd 😂.
For our daily shots, let me share some shots I took long time ago when my wife and I went to see the museum here in our town which is famous as the shoe capital and therefore the museum houses a lot of shoes collection from different famous people in the country. Here we have a vertical column with lots of shoe moulds attach to it. I took the photo from the upper level of the museum where the wooden staircase are located.
Then this one shows several display of shoes from important people of the society. These shoes are given to the museum as a donation.
More shoes on display, placed on the glassware.
These shoes on a cabinet with glasses that are on display are only a few from the collections of first lady Imelda Marcos. She donated them all here for the people to see her vast collection. She may haven't worn these shoes twice if not mistaken.
An odd type of footwear. I could only imagine the feeling of comfort when these are worn. The weight of it while wearing.
Another odd footwear those in blue with lots of spikes.
A couple of more shots showing different than kinds of ladies sandals and other shoes on display.
One of the display is the sewing machine with its brand. This is the same kind of sewing machine they still use up to this day my local manufacturers because the brand is known to have a high quality and definitely reliable.
Some mannequins portraying the work of people engage in shoe making industry. It shows how the sewing is done and also the hand crafting process.
After we were done exploring the museum for about an hour, my knew a place that has cheap price with great food so we went there and order our self these healthy delicious foods.
Follow me on my nature and travels.
