Hello Hive!

We are still adapting the changes the pandemic has brought us. We've been sheltering ourselves for more than a year now and everything feels stuck and some people are having a hard time balancing their physical, emotional and mental health. Others say that the old normal isn't coming back anymore so we just have to live with the new normal and follow the pandemic protocols and strive hard to survive. It's getting more strict as days go by in our hometown from curfew hours, travel restrictions and simple pandemic policies. Some establishments have age restrictions that won't allow children and elders to dine in. When I looked for a milktea store nearby I found one that allowed me to dine in with my nieces. It was such a relaxing day for them since they've been staying at home for a long time that they haven't gotten a chance to eat out.

They just normally attend their online classes at home, play mobile games and watch tiktok videos. They seemed really happy to have gotten out the house and play at the cafe. I ordered their milktea of choice which I had them choose before we left the house.

My niece is nailing every post she made. I was impressed how she's having fun and loving interacting with the camera. I guess I've introduced Angel in one of my homeedder posts. I'm not sure if some of you can remember that wherein I taught her how to read English words and sentences.

Unlike Angel, my other niece, Gresheil, seems very shy with the camera so I only had a few photos of her.

The following photos were taken by Greshiel. I am very amazed how good she is at taking decent quality photos. I was playing mobile game at that time and I noticed that Greshiel was also enjoying taking photos of Angel I just let them play since they are still at sight and just inside the cafe. I always reminded them to sanitize their hands before touching their faces.

I am just happy to see that they enjoyed their time at the cafe and gave them a time to feel like everything is still normal even if it's not. We shouldn't make them feel that the world seems impossible to go back to the old normal because they deserve a hope and to enjoy their childhood by not worrying the uncertainties of this pandemic.

This pandemic has taught me to spend more quality time with our loved ones and seize every moment. Stay safe everyone!

Thank you for reading, I hope to interact with you in the comments.

Regards,
