Blood moon: 21st century's longest lunar eclipse on 27 July, 2k18.

Upcoming lunar eclipse is the longest lunar eclipse of the 21st century which will take place on 27 July of this month, will last for above 1 hour and 43 minutes.


It would be the amazing scene, which can be seen from Africa and Asia. The color of the moon will typically change from dark orange to red and that is because of the rays coming from sun bent from earth surface to moon, longest wavelength of the spectrum i.e., red fall on to the moon.

last total lunar eclipse occurred on January 31, 2018, and after 27 July. We can see blood moon again in the first month of next year(2019).
