MyPictureSunday #16 - Saitan and Vai Beach

Welcome and greetings from Greece my Steemian friends!

I was overwhelmed by the amount of positive feedback on my last TimTravels post that I didn't want to let you wait any longer for this new episode. It makes me happy to see that you enjoy my photography and travel blog.
Let's go together on a new journey this time!
It's time for Saitan Beach.

Saitan beach is located in the northwest of Crete and is a hidden gem. Mostly known by locals this place is a must see. You need to take a climb down in order to get to the beach. I recommend you to have proper shoes with you since the way is tough. On your way down you will meet some new friends like him.

The crystal clear water and surrounding rocks make this place unique. You can even cliff dive from the rocks! Btw. I did a backflip from 10m. Maybe I will post a video in the next TimTravels episode. On our way back we saw an amazing sun set. One of its kind.

The next day we wanted to visit another palm beach called Vai. This one is located on the east of Crete. The way was long and it took us 4 hours to get there from Matala Beach. We had to stop several times because of goats blocking the street. They even came to the car to say hello. Goats? You are on Steemit now! You made it!

Finally we reached Vai. It was about time to relax and this place seems to be made for relaxing. Do you agree?

To round off the whole we visited the local Tavern at the beach and ordered some traditional Greek food. Enjoy the rest of the pictures!

A friends of mine I met on Crete. I know him from the old school times. There are sometimes amusing coincidences.

I hope you enjoyed this episode of MyPictureSunday. Leave a comment and tell us what you think and where you would like to go on your next trip. In addition to that I made a twitter account you can follow: twitter.com/timsaidsworld

Steem on and see you at the SteemFest!
Tim
