I never had the chance to perform in the Fred Stone Theatre at Rollins College in Orlando, FL, but I did some dramaturgy work for a show that went up there, and my full-length play, Eleftheria, had its first reading in the space. In a word? Gorgeous.
And I'm sad to see it go. They're tearing it down due to structural issues this year, and besides it being such a perfect space for my show (no longer), it was a structure that held such importance and so many memories for alumni and current students.
