Greetings all,
I would like to start a light in sacred spaces photo challenge. The premise is simple, share photos of light in the context of religious, spiritual, or otherwise sacred spaces (broadly defined). As light is one of the oldest and most universal manifestations of the divine, I think this challenge could bring forth some interesting work!
For my own submission, this is a photo I took at St. George's Cathedral in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on the morning of Meskerem (Ethiopian New Years Day) 2016 (2009 in the Ethiopian Orthodox Liturgical Calendar.
The title of the photo is Fiat Lux (Let there be light)
Enjoy and have fun! I look forward to seeing your submissions.
