Since I have replenished my arsenal with wide-angle lenses, the necropolis of the Novodevichy Convent is one of my favorite places to shoot in general, and especially considering the black and white scenes.
this was shot this November late in the evening, when the sun was casting only a slender reflections on the roofs. It took me an 80 second shutter speed and proper 'development' of the raw file to get the result you see.
Obviously, b-w and color versions give a different impression. I would be intrested to see your comments on this. What is your fave, and why?..
