While hiking one day, we came across the last remains of an abandoned town. The town was called Cazador, and there isn't much known or written about it, other than it had a train station that was frequently used for traveling and the transporting of goods.
The railroad was decommissioned in the early 60s, and the town vanished shortly after. All that's left today are some crumbly bricks, rotting railroad ties, and some rusty pieces of metal and pottery sherds. Below, you can see some of the pottery sherds and other stuff we found. We also found some pretty rocks we took home to polish – whenever we get a rock tumbler.
