Many people who join one of our Chiang Mai Photo Workshops do not have a clear idea of what the ISO setting on their camera is or how to use it effectively. It's important to understand ISO and know when you need to alter the setting. When the light is too low for you to maintain a fast enough shutter speed, this is a good time to raise your ISO to a higher setting because this makes the sensor more responsive to light. In bright light you are best to keep your sensor low.
