A Vessel Wades Through Sea Smoke Rising From Long Island Sound at Dawn

Good Afternoon! It has been a while since I've dedicated a post to the #SunThursday challenge on STEEM. Today I would like to share a photo that I took a couple of weeks ago on my way to work. This picture was taken on the morning after the blood moon eclipse. I decided to drive past the beach to see if I could get a nice photo of the moon, but unfortunately it was a bit cloudy. Instead I got this photo of a boating vessel floating through the sea smoke that was rising off the surface of the water. The sun was coming up and peaking through the clouds and Long Island Sound had a blanket of steamy mist on top.

Sea Smoke is caused by cold air sweeping across the surface of a warmer body of water. The temperatures dropped drastically and the sound was not very cold yet, as it had been a mild start to the winter. I'm happy with the way this photo came out, but I'm not quite sure what kind of boat it is.
