Puerto Escondido reminded me so much of Puerto Rico, where I was born and lived for the first 10 years of my life. So far it is my favorite place that I have visited in #Mexico.

Aside of the obvious, like it being a beach town full of long and short term locals, a vibrant but not overbearing tourist scene and a mixture of industry and small to large scale entrepreneurs, there was something extremely familiar about Puerto.

Even the drive there reminded me of Puerto Rico. There were times that I had to remind myself that I was actually in Oaxaca, Mexico and not in a tiny island in the Caribbean lol.

We met so many wonderful people, and saw so many incredible sites...and ate so much cheap and delicious food. If any of you ever considers visiting Mexico, I highly recommend you make the trip down to Puerto Escondido. You will not regret it.
