Wild Blackberries vs Garden Blackberries

I am always on a lookout for berries, nuts or fruits on my hikes in nature. Today I'm going to present you a difference of blackberries found in nature and on my garden.

Wild blackberries are considered to be very invasive and difficult to get rid of without chemicals. I know that very well as I see it every time when we move our cattle from pasture to pasture. Cows eat all the grass and apples found at a place but they don't touch berries. Goats on the other hand go first on berry bushes and eat all of them. They have it as a treat.

The difference between wild blackberries and graden blackberries is like day and night, like you would taste a completely different fruit. I can't describe how good wild blackberries are. They are a little sour, juicy, sweet and taste like heaven.

Garden blackberries are much bigger than wild ones. But their taste does not come close to wild blackberries. While they do turn juicy there is almost no flavor at all. I would instantly trade them for wild blackberries.

No matter what berries you eat, you'll get some amazing health benefits. I am not going to list them as they are all over the internet. And if you ever go hiking lookout for this delicious treat.
