good morning steemit friend, this time I will discuss about semar bag plants.
The semar bag is a unique plant because it preys on nearby insects which in its Latin Nepenthes belong to the monotypic family, consisting of 130 species. Habitat with the most populated species in Borneo and Sumatera puau.
There are generally Nepenthes have three kinds of pockets, namely the top pockets, bottom pockets and rosette pouch. The upper bag is a bag of adult plants, the top pockets are often used to catch the trbang animals such as flies or mosquitoes. The bottom pockets are pockets that are generated on the part of young plants commonly lying on the ground, and have two wings that are used to help for insect soil or ants to climb the mouth of the pouch and end up trapped into the enzyme fluid inside. while the rosette pouch grows on a rosette-shaped leaf. But sometimes some of its kind out the middle pocket that is shaped like a mixture of lower pockets and top pockets.
This plant has a very wide spread from the coast to the highlands, which is why nepenthes is divided into two types, namely lowland and highland species, although most species grow in the highlands.
