The rain is just not letting us enjoy the summer this year. It's been stubbornly going on for the most part of the last two months, so I figured I might as well have some fun with it. Like I wrote in one of my previous posts, street photography in the rain is incredibly satisfying. The streets are rich with reflections, textures, umbrellas, saturated colors...
Recently I've been admiring the works of Saul Leiter who used to include a lot of abstract elements in his street photographs. He used raindrops, snow, blurry windows and reflections together with unusual manual focusing to bring painting-like qualities in his work. I tried to include some of those in the way I shoot.
Let me know what you think about the photos in the comments. :)
