Dang it! I made it through almost the entire month posting one of these daily, but then it all got away from me yesterday. In my defense, I had a bit of an unexpected hiccup.
The short explanation - I sprained my left thumb last night doing dishes, because my body is doing stupid things something seems to be going on with me, but nobody's figured it out yet.
Moving on - in a couple of days (Friday, March 2nd) I'll kick off a weekly contest and announce the details then. I'm also planning to spend a bit more time promoting this, and doing a bit of writing myself (which was my original plan).
Oh, and while this isn't technically a challenge result post, I wanted to thank @spozone for sharing this - Day Late and dollar short photoflashfiction posting. The song sounded like my childhood (my dad was a bluegrass fan), and I appreciated the bit of nostalgia.
Now, here's the skinny on this final day of the challenge, as laid out in my original post, #PhotoFlashFiction Challenge - daily visual writing prompts for February 2018 -
- Each day in February, I'll post a photo from my ridiculously huge archive (sometimes filtered via via PicMonkey.
- You write a short (under 1000 words) piece of flash fiction, poetry - whatever you're inspired to create.
- Use #photoflashfiction as one of your five tags.
- Scroll through the feed and see what other writers come up with.
- If there's enough interest, I'll make this a weekly contest in March.
Shout out if you'd like me to tag you, so you'll get notified when the post goes live.
Now, without further adieu, here are yesterday's and today's visual writing prompts -
Happy writing!
