The best part of my life is being a "Traveler" I am a nature lover and a mountain lover, I like being on the top of the mountain.
My favorite thing is to go where i've never been.
Hello Steemians. I would love to share to you my experienced hiking in the 2nd highest mountain in the Philippines.
Mt. Pulag in Benguet Province.
Starting point.
Before you climb the mountain, you need to register and to attend their seminar so that you will know their rules and regulations.
We are here at Department of Environment and Natural Resources or (DENR) in Mt. Pulag National Park Protected Area Office Ambangeg, Daclan, Bokod, Benguet.
Camp Site 1 in Ambangeg Trail.
This is where we take a rest from a 9hour travel from Manila to Baguio, Baguio to Benguet Province.
After we took our lunch we spent our time to get to know our co-climber in our Team Base Camp.
Some of them came from a long place like in Bicol, Bicol is from South and Baguio is in North, if you travel by land, Bicol to Baguio it will take 1 day before you will arrive in the said place.
At night before we get to sleep we have a chance to have a bonding moments.
8PM sleeping time, we need to get early sleep because we will climb the mountain in 1AM, we experienced watching the beautiful constellations of stars at this time.
Its 12am and its very cold outside we can hear the wind like a wave in the ocean touching our tent outside.
We are preparing now and need to get ready to climb Mt.Pulag.
After 4 and 1/2 hours of hiking and walking, we are here now in the Peak of Mt. Pulag and we have a chance to witness the sun to rise.
The weather is very cold we have experience 4 Deegree Celsius.
We are wearing 5 layers of cloth but still we are freezing cold here on the top of the mountain.
Its early in the morning and the sun is rising.
2,922 Above Sea Level.
Thank you Steemians i hope you enjoy our first Hike in the Mt.Pulag with my Team Base Camp.
