And another one done 3 years back

This was my first concrete solo sculpture! I did some before but it was more creating rock formation and I did a shell of 1.5 m dm. That was my experience. I remember we sprayed the concrete onto the wall, let it set for a little while (It depends on the weather) and off you go shaping with trowels, pallet knifes and sponges with water.. I loved it.
Many years later I was invited to make a concrete sculpture in Blockhus for a private collection . I was super exited and couldn’t wait to start. But what to make! It was for Sure experimental and there was a theme, Myths so I decide to create my own about a dragon that didn’t spit fire like his fellow dragons! And so the story started.
The baby dragon felt helpless and was embarrassed around his mates and decide to left them alone. After weeks in the dark forest he heard noises and curious as he was he sneaked upon them . There where kids around a campfire and shooting there farts into the heat, they sometimes lit up quite bright in the dark sky. Somehow the dragon got exited and make to much noise the kids around the fire stayed quite cool and where al friendly to the dragon. After a while also the dragon give it a shot in the fire... and of course it was enormous for a second the whole place was lit up with a bright light! The kids where amazed and the dragon felt very good in his new family.
He could shoot fire up to 30 meters in the sky.. just with a fart, the kids gives him food and drinks.
How the story ends I am not sure yet.
He might flee back to his brothers and sisters to show them what he can do now!

I made a sculpture of that dragon whit a Zippo lighter in his hand. In his bud I created a tube all the way down the plinth and I hooked up a smoke machine! I only worked once, unfortunately
The other option is a watermist !
