How I made this mural painting: Mandala Burst

Good day people of Steem it! Today I'm gonna be showing you on how I made this Mural piece that I'd like to call, The Mandala Burst!

This project was part of my work on a private beach resort here in the Philippines which I mentioned on my recent post.

Here was my recent post

Now here is the mural piece on the side of a stair case at the resort. More like a wall, but part of the stairs tho.

Now, we proceed with it's process

So, I started filling the whole side with waterbased or latex paint. I mixed a cream color for me to easily fill the wall with colors later on.

So, while I was waiting for the wall to dry up. Got myself mixed all the colors I want for the design. All paints are still waterbased/latex paints. Now, the base is dry and the sketch is placed. We now proceed with the filling of colors.

Took me awhile on filling up the colors since on the night that I was painting, it rained. So, I had to be patient and wait the rain to stop.

Then I proceeded with the outline of the piece.

Well, that's a wrap! Took me around 16 hours to finish this piece. Didn't rest until I was done. Guess, it's just how I work. I don't get myself to relax until one thing is done.

That'll be all for today, folks! Hope you'd still follow and support me through my art journey! See you again and until next time! This is @ianceaz and thank for dropping by. Peace!
