Nigel Farage is accused by Steve Baker, the chairman of the European Research Group, of paving a way for a "weak and indecisive" hung Parliament. Farage is seen by a number of his critics as the "man who threw away Brexit".
A number of his allies have also expressed concerns that Farage may have gone into the wrong direction. This comes after U.S. President Donald Trump encouraged Farage and Johnson to agree on thinking of prospects for the expansion of U.S. and U.K. trade after the Britain's exit from the E.U.
Johnson, on the other hand, had been accused of being complacent after news of his weekend getaway with his girlfriend in the New Forest just before the beginning of the election campaign.
