“Sooner or later, they’re going to get the rights back to all our characters.”
These were the words of Marvel's comic book living legend, Stan Lee when asked about the rights for X-Men and Fantastic Four. He also expressed that despite Fox's continuous efforts to produce movies to keep the right to own these Marvel titles, fans can expect that there will be more Marvel superheroes that will make an appearance into the big screen.
We all know that the possibilities of the X-Men sharing the universe with the Avengers is not as hard as we think. This is evident with the recent negotiations with Fox and Marvel as they allowed compromises for Deadpool's Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 2's Ego The Living Planet.
X-Men and the Fantastic Four's film rights were bought by Fox to save Marvel in the 90s. The publisher was forced to sell their rights to save them from a possible bankruptcy. Now as Marvel regained their place financially and popularity wise, all thanks to the success of their Cinematic Universe.
