The worlds biggest ocean clean up is under way 😀🙌👌
Finally after so much damage that us humans have been causing to the oceans, the biggest clean up is finally under way by a man named Boyan Slat
He was 18 years old back in 2013 when he came up with the idea to help collect and clean garbage from the Pacific Ocean 🌎
Boyan Slat created a "U" shaped collective vessel that floats along with the ocean current And it picks up trash without picking up or harming the marine life 🙌🐋🐠
Some of you guys may have heard already that we have a Texas size patch of trash floating in the ocean 😱😱😱
They have planned to collect over 50% of the plastic in the ocean by 2020
Starbucks have started to stop using plastic straws and instead use paper staws to help with the problem 👍
The company Lotus has announced to drop an electric hyper car called the "EVIJA" and Its supposed to go 0 to 62 Miles per hour in just Under 3 seconds 😱🔥
The word "Evija" means the first of its kind
This car is priced at 1.7 Million Euros which is around 2.1 Million dollars 🤑
The E.P.A (Environmental Protection Agency) Announced on july 18th that they will not ban chlorpyrifos which is a pesticide used to kill insects BUT the E.P.A already Announced previously, back in 2016 they said
"There is evidence of delays In mental development in infants (24-36 months) Attention problems and autism spectrum disorder in early childhood.
So this is saying that the chemicals that we put on our vegetables and crops has been confirmed to cause brain realted diseases In children by the E.P.A themselves 👎
But they said they will not ban this chenical even though its causing brain damage to children
