UK may have breached human rights over Grenfell Tower, says UN - Oh, really?

[The Guardian] ( https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2018/mar/09/grenfell-tower-uk-may-have-breached-human-rights-says-un )

"She said she had been struck by survivors’ “feelings of not being heard, of feeling invisible, and not being treated like > equal human beings”."

Let's be brutally honest here, many of the dead were illegal immigrants.

When you're an illegal immigrant, you're not supposed to even be considered the slightest bit equal. Think of it as a deterrent against illegal immigration. If you want any rights at all, you've got to get a visa.

As for the legal residents; yes, the property management staff were shit, but:

"survivors and local residents had been stereotyped and discriminated against on the basis that they lived in social housing. This meant they may have been treated less as people with human rights, and more as objects of charity."

Ideally, you shouldn't live in social housing then? Not to mention this:

“Residents told me they feel the government’s position is that they should feel lucky that they are going to be rehoused and that they should feel lucky that they had social housing. That doesn’t suggest residents feel the government recognises them as rights holders.

Many of them got controversially rehoused in nearby luxury apartments which destroyed the value of the property for those that had worked hard all their lives to be able to afford to buy such multi-million pound valued properties. They should feel very lucky indeed. Especially as there were some dodgy unregistered landlords illegally side letting out their apartments to illegal immigrants for cash.

Ministers dismissed her criticisms as a “misleading Marxist diatribe”.

Damn fucking right. London is a very international, large capital city. It has to attract the best, the most talented, the most wealthy. If that means that lower class unskilled migrants are considered to be of lower value, so be it.

As far as I'm concerned Stormzy, Jeremy Corbyn and the globalist scum at the UN can all just fuck off. Grenfell was indeed a tragedy and just shows what can happen when the widespread illegal housing of illegal and mostly unwanted migrants becomes commonplace. The aftermath shows that the UK cannot afford to allow such a situation to continue much longer. If we really have to accommodate third world migrants, there are many smaller, former industrial towns that could actually benefit from their presence should they eventually be able to enter the workforce and contribute to the local economies. Creating third world ghettos in London does not help anybody, even the migrants themselves, especially when tragedies like this eventually happen.
