I think it's marvelous that you have undertaken this initiative-- what a beautiful thing to do, and what a great way to help build the community.

And the extra benefit of course is that now that we have more of an issue with spam and new users trying shortcuts... you are teaching a whole "generation" of minnows to "rise above" the garbage, and simply by the way they approach Steemit now, are better community members... it's your own very productive and positive way to be part of the "war on spam."
