I am so excited to share this with Steemit!
I was able to catch one of my neon tetras laying eggs on camera. I kept checking on her throughout the day to see if I could catch her in the act, and lucky enough for us all I did!
This is special because it is relatively difficult to get neon tetras to spawn in an aquarium. It tells me that I am doing a good job maintaining the conditions required for the species to be comfortable. I don't have any intention of breeding the fish. Otherwise, I would have separated her and another male into a separate tank. At one point you'll see another tetra eat an egg right after she releases it. Nature is hardcore.
Special shoutout to @Zainenn and @Brainpod those guys are awesome and you should follow them. Great content and awesome people.
