These photos are from two days ago, very beautiful clouds with the sun's rays highlighting them. They told me this was an aurora, I am not much versed in astronomy or whatever science studies this, but I had been led to believe that auroras can only be seen in the far northern or southern regions of the earth. But after Googling "Aurora" it seems I might have been wrong all this time. Well you do learn something new, maybe not every day but certainly on a regular basis.
