ORIGIN OF NATURE AND OF LIFE

The answer to the origin of life and the universe is posed by man from the beginning of rational research. Thales of Miletus, (7th century BC) belonging to the group of pre-Socratic philosophers, gives the first answer about the active principle that is the origin or cause of all things, it is water.
Thales was a native of Miletus, one of the most important cities of ancient Greece, on the banks of the Aegean Sea. The contemplation of the sea and its immensity, the water irrigating and fertilizing the fields, poverty and lack of life in areas where it does not arrive, the water-life relationship, led him to put water as the essence of everything.
Philosophers and later writers highlighted the relationship of sea water, health and life. Thus Euripides, Greek tragic writer (480-406 BC) said: sea water cures all the evils of men. And Plato, Greek philosopher (427-347 BC), also states that sea water heals all evils. The sea also cured tuberculosis to a French researcher, René Quinton (1866-1925), and this experience in his own flesh led him to research the composition and properties of seawater. And he concluded that the first cell that gave birth to the life of the species on the planet was built on the sea. In his time the hypothesis had already been issued, but always in a vague way, that life could have originated at sea; Quinton demonstrated it, and today it is a universally accepted fact.

Quinton raises, experiments and affirms that if the cellular life arose in the sea in the precámbrica time, 600 million years ago, at that time the concentrations of salts and nutrients in the seas should be of 8-9 gr. for 1 l. that is what he has proven that vertebrates have and among them man.
In the sea they are still, according to Quinton, the same nutrients that made up the first cell. That cell, inside its membrane that isolated it from the outside as a fortress, conserved the sea water that surrounded it. A water that contains and contains proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals dispersed. In 1904 René Quinton published the book L'eau de mer, milieu organic, making known the results of his research.
In 1974, at the University of La Laguna in Tenerife, they know the research and treatments with sea water carried out by René Quinton in 1897. And a group of new professors decide to prove it. They get, surprised, results similar to those obtained by René Quinton. They decide to make it known to the scientific establishment, but in view of the difficulties that they are presented with, they resolve to file them.
And the experiences of the University of La Laguna remain archived and forgotten, until a Colombian investigative journalist, Laureano Domínguez, knows them through an article published in the Integral magazine. When

It is incredible, an experience like this has never been done before, and those who, due to a shipwreck, have found themselves in a similar situation, have not been able to tell us because they are dead or crazy. In these 4 days neither I nor my companions were hungry, nor thirsty. We did not have any illness or deterioration of any kind. We lost on average one kg. of weight, per day, that later in the hotel, in free buffet we take care of recovering. Three colleagues continued with the experience for 3 more days, so they were 7 days without more nutrients than seawater.
We gave testimonies of this experience in the II International Congress of Seawater, which was held in those days in Fuerteventura, before 28 speakers representing 22 universities in the US, Latin America and Europe, among these 8 Spanish.
Now to these universities and to you in the "Treball de Recerca" you have to investigate and spread something so simple and that so much impact can have for the good of humanity.
