#698 - Some Travel and Nature shots for today.

Happy Saturday morning dearest Hiveans. It's the weekend finally, I have a work going on too but will finish it by three in the afternoon. Yesterday was raining and gloomy so I was not able to do much except went to the school to pay the quarterly tuition fee of my son and which deadline is on November first. Good thing my wife and I have save most of our salaries for this kind of events. We didn't go out much also during weekends, we just go out for walks and that is it. My wife has her gym lessons before her shift but she only bring money for jeepneys fare. We have to keep doing this routine without going out much because after three months I have to go back to the school once more and pay the last trench of the tuition fees, the school admin says on the last quarter that's when they will deduct the government subsidies, alumni and PWD discounts so we will not expecting that huge amount to pay on the last quarter.

For our shots today here we have several photos we took when we went to a house built by Americans back in the days during their occupation here in the city of pines. The park is found in Camp John Hay's. They have this house which is still being kept in pristine condition by the camp management. There's these two statues made of wood which have hand carved by the locals. It's life size even taller than the normal height of Filipinos. The statues on the door sides are both a man and woman and they represent the Igorots.

Just me posing in one side of the house where there are many pine trees nearby. The temperature was cold too and a bit foggy.

And then my wife and I went on a stroll in the vicinity of the American house where all parts of the park are covered with tall pine trees. It was a hilly too so we had to go down and up the hill. Our son was not able to join us this time because he has classes in school but hopefully this coming holiday season he can join since he will not have any school only vacation.

The park has this bench type which kinda look like chopped pine trees but are actually concrete, it's just the design which made it look like trees. This park is a go to place by families especially during weekends where they can spent their quality times here without paying any fees at all if you just come here and stay on these kind of chairs and roam parts of the park.

Inside the vicinity of the American house is a garden where they have like an amphitheater like design. There are several varieties of flowers too but there were no insects at the time of our visit.

Then this shot shows the traffic condition in one of the city streets during one raining afternoon. Most of the vehicle we see here are white and they are mostly taxis too.
