#695 - Batad shots for Saturday.

Greetings this Saturday evening fellow beautiful Hiveans. It's gloomy and was raining since the early hours. I just woke up around seven because I heard my mother in law is doing laundry again and I thought she was done few days back. She said there were few left including my son's uniform over the past days. So after they're done with the laundry, she started with the tinola viand for lunch which is chicken with soup paired with some vegetables. After eating lunch since the weather is raining and dark, all we did was binged watch Netflix til afternoon.

Now for our we got here a magnificent view of the amphitheater of the rice terraces which almost included all the rice fields. The houses are also in the frame, those in the middle of the field and on the foothills of the mountains. The rice fields are not planted yet, the greens you see are remnants from the previous harvest and were just left there to continue growing as a food source also for their chickens which are roaming around freely.

We got here a huge bumble bee in contact with its target which is a big zinnia flower. The flowering plants are located at the viewing area almost atop the mountain where you have a view of the marvelous rice terraces.

An area of the rice terraces where we can see old nipa huts which are now mostly used as their granaries but were used as their houses back in time. There is a man in the middle of the field and I believe he is clearing his part of the rice fields.

This shot was taken on our way to the viewing area where we saw the bumble bee with the zinnia flowers. The trek is already paved in concrete which is great because tourists will no longer experience slipping on muddy trail during wet seasons.

We could see houses of the locals in the forested area on the lower part of the mountain. There are also three umbrellas emerging from the other trail path coming from those houses.
