Truth #3 Consider Your Grandchildren's Children First

The reason this truth is so important to me is that if everyone considered the effect on their Grandchildren's Children of every action they take, this world would grow into something more beautiful than we could imagine. We live in a world that is too much quid pro quo. Too many ask the question "What's in it for me". Better people ask what's in it for my children and better yet ask what's in it for my Grandchildren. Ultimately all these lead back to benefiting the individual because they will be in contact with each of these people. If you are living and making decisions for your Grandchildren's Children you would truly be living altruistic. Your motives would benefit all humankind and not just you, your family and your friends.

There are very few things that you know your Grandchildren's Children will need for sure. They will need a clean Earth, (Water, Food, Air, Ect...). They are going to need housing. They are going to need a purpose. We all know that technology is only taking away jobs not making more. In the future, there will be very few who will even have jobs. This means they will not be able to find their purpose there. What then are we left to teach our children so they teach their children and them theirs. We must teach them to love the art they create. Be it in the connections they make with others, a painting, music, literature or even their ideas. They must find a purpose that can not be taken over by computers or robots.

I say we embrace a new world where robots and AI are for working and humans are for living. If we work toward this goal our Grandchildren's Children will be well taken care of. We must explore new concepts of social structure, such as The Venus Project or The Free World Charter. If we do the earth's resources will be saved and we can focus on creative ideas to make the whole planet healthy.

Let's live for the future of the children we will never meet and by doing so we will make a brighter future for ourselves. Although, if we must sacrifice our own desires, well being or comfort for a bright future for our Grandchildren's Children than we must. That is the only way you can honestly say you are not being selfish.

I Love You All
