I just did this song today while sitting around bored. Wasn't sure what I was trying to write, started off as kind of a chill, jazzy beat, but I scrapped all that and rolled with the sort of Eastern/Egyptian sounding melody. The instrumentation is cool, the synths' panning is pretty fun. I worked for a while (maybe too long) on that part haha.
There is a little break towards the beginning that has only 7 beats in the measure, so the main riff comes back in 'early'. Or it feels early anyway. I was trying to keep some dissonance in the harmonies, but not get too weird. I like the fourths, they realy change the way the melody comes through.
