You owe it to yourself

Do you recognize yourself as a person with an inability to work hard? You get inspired, sit down to work, but soon abandon it for your phone, friends, chatting, girls, YouTube or whatever! To be honest, it takes absolutely no effort to do those things, and they give relaxation in return! Secondly, you're deeply entrenched in the inner workings of those addictions. And let's be honest, they wouldn't be addiction if your life was perfectly stable and secure. If you inherited 10 million dollars tomorrow, this behavior of avoiding work would be reasonably understandable.

Here's the truth; you don't have that and you have no passions, if you did, you'd already be invested in them. Because you have nothing towards which your heart goes, working towards prosperity feels like a pain in the ass.

The question is; do you want a successful, stable life or not? If you don't then continue, but make up your mind very clearly. This is not a question whether money makes you happy or not, happiness and money are two different things. Can money facilitate happiness, most certainly yes, can money ensure mental stability? Mental stability is a question regarding the choices you make in your life, the people you associate with. With money, one can buy drugs, or use it to lay for children's rehabilitation in drug prone areas. How you spend money depends on the person you are, therefore, mental stability rests on the nature of choices one makes.

So back to the question of your nature, do you want money or not? Do you want prosperity in your life or not? If yes, then you'd have put in blood, sweat and tears. We don't live in the times where one could survive by doing nothing. We live in a world of free market, in which competition is the reality, skill is the product with the highest market value, and negligence, laziness is a psychological death sentence.

I am sorry but you wouldn't even be able to get a girl of your choice to marry you. This is not my opinion, this is the reality of free market. We are a population infected by desires, inaffordable luxuries, and obsessed with the word, "more". If you think you're not that, you're wrong. You already yearn for the newest phone, the better laptop, a bigger house with its own lift, and a shiny bullshit car.

You've bought their bullshit and so has everyone. And they're already making money off you, everything in your phone on which you spend your entire day makes ton of money off you. Open your eyes, or you will be evicted. Be a realist, the world has changed and you're becoming the victim, the spoil of wars which they are benefiting from. What about you? You're alive and not dead. So hit them back. Claim your place in this messed up world.

Get off your bed and accept that you won't be left behind. Now, once you decide, don't start over expecting from yourself too. Hard work doesn't happen in one day. Habits are built over time, so it is natural on day 1 for you to feel exhausted in the first 30 minutes. It's just like working out in the gym. The first week is going to suck, but gradually your strength and endurance will increase and you'd be finishing two hours of work a day. The secret is doing it everyday with a willingness to push further more and more. So don't give up! Your inability, uninterest is only your body complaining, ignore that and start from today. Giving up does not exist. It is not an option in the pursuit of prosperity.

Keep working hard, keep surprising yourself, keep rising, and never forget, you are awesome.
