The huge amount of money and gold jewelry were found in the opening of five donations of the mad mosque on Saturday. There is a legend that, at one time, there was a lunatic man who lived in the place of a madman. After the death of the saint, the local residents started using his sub-division as Kamel Pir's mosque.
Since then, people of different nationalities and religions, including Hindu and Muslim, come with cash, gold or goats, poultry and even fruit trees in the mosque to fulfill their desire. This history is known to be around 250 years of age.
According to the elderly people of the city, this ancient historical mosque, which is named after the spiritual madness, has become known as a place of belief and trust for all people regardless of the Hindu-Muslim religion and caste.
