توفي قلب دفاع المنتخب الانكليزي السابق لكرة القدم ولاعب ايبسويتش تاون كيفن بيتي عن 64 عاما، حسب ما اعلنت عائلته اليوم الأحد.وكان بيتي، المولود في كارليل (شمال انكلترا)، أحد اللاعبين الأساسيين في تشكيلة ايبسويتش عندما فاز بكأس انكلترا عام 1978 على حساب أرسنال (1-صفر) تحت اشراف المدرب السابق للمنتخب بوبي روبسون.
وغاب بيتي عن نهائي مسابقة كأس الاتحاد الأوروبي التي فاز فيه ايبسويتش عام 1981 (على ألكمار الهولندي 3-صفر ذهابا و2-4 إيابا)، بداعي الاصابة التي جعلت مسيرته الدولية مع المنتخب قصيرة حيث خاض تسع مباريات فقط سجل فيها هدفا واحدا.
Former English star Kevin Petty dies at the age of 64
In the heart of England's former defense and Ipswich Town, Kevin Petty is 64, his family said Sunday.
