This is my entry into the #monomad challenge.
Well, first time back shooting with Aoife after all the lockdown restrictions and it was good to get behind the camera again. Myself and a good mate, @brianbrogan1960 went to my local theatre where we had full run of the place - maybe because I just happen to be chairman and lighting designer!
Aoife is such a beautiful young woman, it's difficult not to take images that show off that beauty. I had a vague idea that I wanted to try and take some 'hard edged' images and these are my attempt.
The glass of drink was Brian's prop for a shot he wanted to get but, in true photographer style, I nicked it! I hadn't intentionally gone with drink as the subject for these images but, I think they work quite well.
Alcoholism isn't a disease I know a great deal about but, like most addictions, I guess it can be an easy trap to fall into and can happen to anyone.
