Most of the ICO's do some kind of airdrops or bounty, and one of the requirements to get the airdrop is to register to a telegram channel. The popular ones are filled with allot of investors, bounty-hunters and people checking the market to see if it's worth it .Some are dumb, some are smart, some are really idiots , some have a language barrier and do not easily understand, and some are just playing dumb( our scammer case)
I don't know if i really should call it a scammer, as it kinda makes the victim seem immoral and bad
Honey pot scam
I got a bit curious after i noticed a user in telegram pasting his ETH Private key.
He played dumb and said smth like : Can you help me, i haven't received my airdrop - this is my private key [..] (In bad English)
Soon some people tried to tell him to delete that msg, as some scammers could try to steal his assets. ( Little did they knew..)
But he pasted again that same key and message
Some people, after 5-10 min, wrote that it's a scam. And it was.
