My ten year old daughter thinks my 85 year old mother was a spy.

But mom was here in 1952, the year of Truman. She was 19. Her uncle sponsored her green card. A child of the post Great Depression, butt up on world war two. She saw even more. hush

I'm not saying the united states government recruited her for anything. She made her own life, forced to make a livelihood in the late fifties, there was enough to spare. She shared her trappings with dad. hush

I didn't come along until 1969, so there was time for things to happen. Both my daughters were born in the twenty first century. They're very astute. My ten year old asks questions, I would not dare. She got my dad talking, before he passed. Then he stumbled. She's a stumbling block. My mom told my dad to hush.
