Petty, me?

So in April of last year I decided it was a great idea to buy an electric skateboard.

Two falls, one visit to the ER, a lot of pain, and a week of lost income later - I haven't ridden it again.

I had it in my head that it would be easier than it was, but I just never had the balance and dexterity to ride it. Live and learn, I guess.

I threw it up on Gumtree and Facebook marketplace to sell, and boy howdy is that an experience. Lowball offers at hundreds of dollars lower than my asking price, offers to trade equally useless things, a request to ride the board free for a week to make sure it was good.

What took the cake was a guy that asked for $400 less than my asking price, and then about an hour of back and forth arguing about how he should get it cheaper. When I closed the sale after successfully offloading it to someone else, he refused to believe me. He suggested that I marked it as sold so I wouldn't have to come to him to beg him to take it off my hands for what it was "really" worth since no one else would buy it for my asking price.

Well, someone else did, and being the petty minded arsehole I am, I sent him this:

I have no regrets.
