We have hours, minutes, and seconds. And if we put tiquismiquis, including tenths, hundredths and thousandths. We can be everything you want, however, time is still relative.
Sometimes it seems that the clock is against us and does not want to move forward even though we do. Those endless minutes waiting for the train or the time of departure from work that seems not to arrive. And even when we are worried about something or we have some problem. We try to actively and passively entertain you with anything and the only thing we get is that time goes even slower. The only thing we can do is not think about it too much, but that's like "do not think about a pink elephant". By trying, we ended up looking at the watch a hundred times more. Although in the end, luckily, that moment comes and we can stop waiting.
And other times, the opposite happens.
Time melts, flows, and even though we try to hold it, it always escapes us from our fingers. Like when we are with someone we want. Small moments that last for hours and are spent in the blink of an eye. In a hug. In a kiss. Or in many of both. Even if we are not doing anything special, simply with being the time is already flying. It never seems to be enough. And no matter how much we wish it not to end, because as I said before, the moments come and the endings are not going to be less.
We can already wish with all our strength that the moment does not end, that time will not forgive us. It is that it does not matter directly what we want. In the end everything is over and it is no use to miss because you can not go back. There will always be things that we would have liked to do and we have not done for some strange reason, or maybe things that we have done but we would have liked to do differently. But because we can not change it, we can only try to enjoy the good times when they happen, instead of regretting the not so good ones that have already happened, and trust to do better next time. Because there is always a next time although sometimes it does not look like it.
I suppose all this is summed up in that instead of being the ones who counted the time, what we should do is let the time be the one that counts.
