Day 7 and the deadline for the contest. I now declare the contest closed, no more submissions will be added to the roster of participants in the official tally of contestants. I am so excited for the result and to announce the winners as soon as @cadawg is done with his difficult task of judging all 55 awesome entries. You read it right, we got 55 entries in our first ever Steemit contest for Red Fishes! I feel so happy about the support of everyone.

I'm also grateful to @moneyinfant for promoting my contest in his contest compilation posts. Thank you @cadawg, for accepting to be the judge, I know you are busy these days with school but you committed to helping me out in this initiative. The post actually earned 7.396 SBD and 1.845 Steem Power. I plan to add a litte more to the SBDs and divide it among the non-winning contestants so everyone gets a share of the earnings. I know it's not much but it is enough to share to everyone who made an effort.

I have upvoted each and everyone who joined, I have left personalized comments after reading the posts and resteemed all posts via resteemable for more exposure. The judge of the contest, my awesome Steemit friend, @cadawg also upvoted all and left personalized comments on each. Our votes plus the vote of resteemable are so tiny but I hope we have helped the contestants in that way showing our appreciation and gratitude for them sharing positivity and inspiring messages here in Steemit.
I have learned a lot from hosting this contest. I am willing to share these knowledge to everyone. I am so glad I hosted this contest because it made me feel so connected to everyone and it is another proof that this platform is conducive to initiatives that help others. Steemit can be a good catalyst for a positive change in the world we live in. I look at this contest as a success and I really hope I was able to inspire people anyhow with this.
I cannot stress enough how appreciative I am and grateful to everyone who supported this contest. For all the contestants, you guys made someone very happy. I will be happy to share with you all the earnings of this contest and I swear to invite you in your wallets for my future contests because all of you guys are awesome.
