Free of Outside Distortion
Jesus walked in the desert for 40 days and 40 nights.
Muhammad would visit a cave in Mount Hira alone, for periods of time.
Buddha sat under a tree meditating for 7 days.
The main reason of this post is to create thought about why you should spend time absolutely alone and completed isolated. These three men have something in common that is of extreme importance. They are each significantly influenced history and continue today, dead.
It fascinates me that these periods of time are spent alone, all in nature, all free from others and only to simply think. Think? Or be given thought? I often have revelations during my elated period of my Bipolar. This usually comes when communing with nature or meditating (prayer). I'm not absolutely sure about this action being supreme, but in my opinion there is something going on here.
Einstein loved to sail. He would sail around a lake and find a spot to wade through the water. Smoking his pipe he would be there, only there and contemplate life. These men are inquisitive and so mindful. All they did in their lives was question, find the answers within, and then they spread the knowledge. This knowledge was GIVEN to them. I believe we work in a way like transceivers. I've been heavily researching these topics for close to 3 years now. I refuse to believe this is it, this is all of what reality is. I deny it because I see the magic in nature, in the stars, in my own brain. This is not what they think it is. There is a lot more going on, and they may know more than us. That's exactly why I aim to spread my knowledge, the knowledge I find within myself. That is my goal in life, that is my dream.
Nature truly does connect with us in so many ways that we are unaware of. So many people are ignorant to the magic hidden within its leaves, waves, and skies. I have been on a long journey for the past three years, this was after an extremely enlightening psychiatric institutionalization occurred in my life. I believe to have been touched by God. My society believes me to be unhealthy mentally. These things fascinate me.
So Be Alone Sometimes, Avoid Loneliness Though
Yesterday I went alone for a walk in a park. Its empty the majority of the time because I believe people think it is a small playground. However, there is a loop that goes on the edge of the small reserve. It goes up a hill, through trees, over a small dock area with cowtails, and then around again. Halfway through there is a small workout station with calisthenic activities. Its wonderful. I want to strive to visit this park once a day and do at least 2 laps. It is so refreshing, physically, mentally and spiritually.
TRY IT!
I don't think you cannot enjoy it. Don't think about your life, just think about life. What is immediately around you.
I hope you try it. Let me know if you do and how it affects you.
